CLEVER, is an acronym for Compact Low Emission Vehicle for Urban Transport or a compact vehicle forurban areas with low exhaust emissions. CLEVER is a concept vehicle intended to transport future that is environmentally friendly.CLEVER vehicle microcar is a blend of safe and comfortable with maneuvering agility of a motorcycle. The vehicle is powered by natural gas-fueled engines.
Machine used was a modified 230cc BMW engine by Institut Français du Pétrole (IFP) so it can use naturalgas as fuel. Machines that are environmentally responsible produce power 17 hp (12.5 kW) and maximum torque 15.5 Nm at 6300 rpm.
The speed of these vehicles are able to produce around 50 mph with fuel consumption is estimated at only2.4 liters/100 km. With two etrsedia fuel tank, this vehicle can reach a maximum distance of about 93 miles(150 km).
